Phillies outfielder Domonic Brown suffered a concussion on July 23 when he dove for a Carlos Beltran line drive at Busch Stadium in St. Louis and landed hard on his head. Brown hasn’t played in a live game since but that should change this week.

Marc Narducci of the Philadelphia Inquirer writes that the 25-year-old slugger “thinks he will be ready for a rehab assignment beginning Monday.” The tentative plan calls for Brown to start out in Low-A ball and then work his way up through the Phillies’ many minor league affiliates
