Cameron Wake the Miami Dolphins' Pro Bowl pass rusher suffered a left knee injury on the defense's first series against the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday.

Wake tried to play the second drive after being examined by team physicians but he was taken out the game on the third drive and replaced by Derrick Shelby.

Wake rode a stationary bike during the second-quarter but his return to the game is questionable.

The Dolphins were already playing Sunday's game without starting nose tackle Paul Soliai who suffered a left knee injury in last Sunday's win against the Colts. So if Wake doesn't return to the game the Dolphins will have to finish out the second game of the season without two starting defensive linemen.

Randy Starks been elevated to Soliai's starting role and Vaughn Martin is being used in the D-line rotation.
