Evan Rodriguez's time on the Miami Dolphins' regular-season roster lasted less than 24 hours.

The Dolphins waived Rodriguez and claimed fullback Tyler Clutts off waivers from the Houston Texans it was announced Sunday.

Clutts had no carries in his first two NFL seasons but caught eight passes for 48 yards.

The 6-foot-2 254-pound Clutts began his NFL career on the Cleveland Browns practice squad in December 2010. He then played with the Chicago Bears in 2011 before being traded to Houston for cornerback Sherrick McManis on August 31 2012.
