The Mavericks had so many things to be happy about on Saturday night that it was hard to list them all.

After all, Dominique Jones may have had his best game as a Maverick and he barely merits a mention.

The third-year guard, who had been slipping further behind Roddy Beaubois as the backup point guard, was pressed into duty because of Beaubois' ankle problem. Jones responded with a couple of good hustle plays in the second half and made a gorgeous look-away feed to Chris Kaman for a dunk.

"I had some easy put-ins,'' Kaman said. "DoJo did a good job throwing me the ball in places that made it easy for me.''

Call it some DoJo mojo. He finished with six points and six assists in 16 minutes, although he did have three of the Mavericks' 22 turnovers.

Still, it was another bright spot. And there were many others.

It was Rick Carlisle's 200thcoaching win with the Mavericks. About which he said: "If you sit around and try to count wins, that's when things don't go well."
