Let the speculation begin.
Within minutes of hearing that Rajon Rondo tore his ACL, half of Twitter had already traded Paul Pierce and blew up the rest of the team.
That, however, is not the case.
Could it happen? Sure. Boston is worse off without their star point guard, playing relatively poor to begin with, and have a few players (perhaps including Pierce) that would interest teams looking to make a serious playoff run.
Boston Herald's Steve Buckley and WEEI's Kirk Minihane are not confident that the C's can do much of anything with Rondo in the lineup, and think that if they can get something in return for Pierce, they should pull the trigger.
Does Paul Pierce have any trade value?
