Devils general manager Lou Lamoriello said right winger Jaromir Jagr has "a little lower body soreness" and will not practice with the team until he is 100 percent healthy.

But the GM stressed that the injury is not serious.

"He has a little lower body soreness. There is nothing that we're excited about but we're going to make sure he is 100 percent" Lamoriello said. "He won't go on the ice (with the full team) until he's 100 percent. He'll just get treatments.

"And he'll do light skating when no one is in the rink. He'll go light and when he's finished he'll be ready. There is no timetable but we're not concerned."

Jagr 41 left the ice early on Thursday's first full day of training camp. He did not take part in the scrimmage or practice today.

Coach Pete DeBoer was happy to hear that Jagr isn't seriously hurt.
