The Orioles had not reached a deal with free-agent pitcher Suk-Min Yoon as of Wednesday morning, according to several sources, despite Yoon's tweet that indicated otherwise.

Yoon, who is considered one of South Korea's best pitchers, tweeted a photo of himself wearing an Orioles cap late Tuesday night, and it quickly went viral.

Baltimore is one of several teams with interest in Yoon. While the O's may be the front-runner for his services, there is no agreement in place.

The Orioles had agreements with free agents Grant Balfour and Tyler Colvin fall through after the players' physicals, so the club will make sure everything is in place before making any official announcements.

Baltimore has yet to add the kind of veteran starter that the club covets. And while Yoon would help with depth, he's certainly not the kind of grizzled innings-eater who fits the bill.
