This road trip has been a triumph for the Yankees. After closing their last homestand with a lost series to Oakland, they won five of six in Denver and Kansas City. Now comes a doubleheader with Cleveland, in which the Yankees will call upon the back end of their rotation and a string of long relievers to keep them afloat.

These two games were rained out on April 10-11. The Yankees treated Cleveland like a punching bag in the first two games of the series. Now the Indians are tied for first place in the American League Central. They’ve won eight of their last 10.

Here are the matchups for Monday’s 18-inning extravaganza:

Game 1: David Phelps (1-1, 5.02 ERA) v. Justin Masterson (5-2, 3.67 ERA).

Game 2: Vidal Nuno (0-0, 0.00 ERA) v. Trevor Bauer (1-1, 2.70 ERA).

Nuno hasn't pitched since April 29. Let's play two!
