Antoine Roussel didn't even get a chance to go back to Austin.
The agitating forward was recalled by the Dallas Stars on Monday morning only days after being sent down from the big-league roster.
Roussel played in both games of the Texas Stars weekend roadtrip in Canada, joining the club for a 2-1 loss to Hamilton and a 3-2 win over Toronto. He had four penalty minutes, two shots and a minus-1 rating in the pair of games.
The penalty minutes were a problem for Roussel in Dallas. As a fourth-line agitator/energy player, he generally walks a fine line on roughing and late hits, but he'd taken a few too many silly penalties in Dallas in his five-game stint. That was capped off by an unsportsmanlike for snowing the goalie in Friday's victory over the Anaheim Ducks.
