When Stephen Curry walked past a media gaggle listening to head coach Mark Jackson's pregame news conference Friday night, the Warriors' point guard jokingly chanted, "Recount, recount."

Seemingly everyone in the league - save for the Western Conference coaches who voted for the All-Star reserves - believes Curry should be on the All-Star squad, so he's able to keep his sense of humor about the slight.

"There was a little anticipation and anxiety leading up to the announcement, but after the initial disappointment of not making it, you realize that you're still in a good position and it's not the end of the world," Curry said in taking the high road with his first comments since the reserves were announced Thursday.

Curry said his agent called about 15 minutes before TNT's "NBA Tip-Off" show revealed the All-Star reserves, saying LaMarcus Aldridge and Tony Parker had been selected. The point guard assumed he was out of the running.
