The Cubs were among several teams scouting Korean free agent pitcher Suk-Min Yoon in Arizona this week, but are unlikely to get into a bidding war for his services.

Yoon threw a bullpen session for the Cubs and Rangers on Tuesday, according to mlb.com. The 27-year-old right-hander has drawn interest from teams looking for rotation help, but reportedly is seeking a multi-year contract out of the Cubs' range.

Yoon was his league Most Valuable Player in 2011, but was 3-6 with a 4.00 earned-run average in 30 games last year, including 11 starts.
