The game wasn’t as pretty as its best play, but the Clippers won’t turn down the result: a 93-80 victory over the New York Knicks Sunday at Staples Center.

Another spectacular dunk, this one a one-handed finish from Blake Griffin off a pass from Chris Paul, had the crowd buzzing, but for most of the game, both teams looked like they were snoozing. The Clippers turned the ball over 10 times in the first half, and despite New York hitting only 30 percent from the field, the Clippers only lead by seven.

The Knicks were clearly undermanned, with Carmelo Anthony, Tyson Chandler and Amar’e Stoudemire all out with injury. Without their three best interior players, New York could only hurt the Clippers from the three-point line.
