To most Phillies fans, the image of Cole Hamels in another uniform is stomach-turning. But with the Fightins 13 games under .500 and the trade deadline less than three weeks away, it's a very real possibility.

A recent column by Sports Illustrated's Jay Jaffe, in which he stated goal was to make bold predictions for baseball's second-half, has it that the 2008 World Series MVP will soon be wearing Pittsburgh's black and yellow:

"The Pirates, leading the NL Central at 48-37 and eager to break a 19-year losing streak, could sacrifice one of their blue-chip prospects such as Starling Marte for a chance to seal the deal with an ace."
