Start me up: Carlos Carrasco, in his best start of the spring, allowed one run in five innings. He struck out five and allowed two hits with no walks.
In the pen: Nick Hagadone pitched out of a bases-loaded jam in the sixth. Ken Hill walked one and struck out two in a scoreless seventh. Matt Albers and Joe Martinez faltered in the ninth, turning a 2-1 lead into a 3-2 deficit.
El Cid: Delvi Cruz hit a two-run, two-out triple in the ninth inning to give the Tribe a 4-3 walkoff victory.
On the move: Center fielder Matt Carson made two nice catches to save Carrasco. He stole extra bases from Gregor Blanco to start the game with a catch near the fence in left center. In the third, he banged into the center field wall to rob Jackson Williams.
