Even though a broken left tibia has all but ended his regular season, Bruins center Chris Kelly still seems ready to take a look on the bright side of life.

The always sunny alternate captain, who was injured in a collision with Ottawa forward Chris Neil on Monday, is out indefinitely. Kelly said doctors haven’t given him a time frame for his return. And he’s keeping an upbeat attitude about his health and the rest of this season.

“I think you’ve got to look at the positives in certain situations, and it could’ve been much worse,” Kelly said after his teammates finished practice yesterday at Ristuccia Arena.
