The Indiana Pacers don't have the talent the Miami Heat does. The Pacers don't even have as many all-stars as the Boston Celtics.
But the Pacers are ahead of the Celtics in the standings and have closed the gap on the Heat, the team with the best record in the Eastern Conference.
Chemistry they say.
"Everybody is almost like brothers," Pacers point guard George Hill said. "We get along, everybody likes to be around each other on the road, at home. We try to do things on the road and not just on the court."
Eating together on the road or hanging out at a teammate's house playing video games was a rarity in previous seasons. There were cliques off the court and the tension could be felt entering the locker room.
