Karim Benzema has endorsed the signing of Real Madrid target Eden Hazard - should he leave Chelsea this summer.

Hazard is enjoying a stellar season for Chelsea as they edge closer to regaining the Premier League title.

As revealed by Sportsmail last month, Real want to make the want to make the 26-year-old their latest Galactico, with the potential for the £100million barrier to be broken.

And speaking about the possibility of playing alongside Hazard at the Santiago Bernabeu next season, Benzema revealed he would welcome the opportunity.

'[Hazard] is a very good player, what can I say?' the French strike told Telefoot.

'I have not seen the rumours, but it's obvious that he would be a good signing.'

Despite Chelsea's 2-0 defeat at Manchester United on Sunday, Hazard has been instrumental in their run to the top of the Premier League - providing 14 goals and five assists to date.

Hazard will look to be back at his scintillating best in the Blues next game on Saturday - a mouthwatering FA Cup semi-final against Tottenham at Wembley.
