Chelsea could pay a remarkably low amount in cash for Arsenal target Julian Draxler according to a report.

Julian Draxler is set to become one of the most sought after players in the world next summer, when Schalke are said to be prepared to consider cashing in on the young talent.

Arsenal were claimed to be the team in the lead in the race to sign the playmaker last month by former footballer Jan-Aage Fjortoft who stated Arsenal were the clear favourites to sign Draxler, revealing the player speaks regularly with Arsene Wenger.

Chelsea are however in the past week said to have accelerated their own interest, sparked by Schalke's own keenness to sign Kevin de Bruyne.

The Mail claim that a deal could be struck, which would involve Chelsea paying just £10 million in cash for Draxler, with De Bruyne also going the other way.
