Let it be known that, from here on out, former CFL defensive lineman Armond Armstead is OUR ENEMY!!!

Today, the 6'5, 300-lbs DT reportedly opted to sign with the New England Patriots. He'd visited with and was courted by the Indianapolis Colts, along with a few other teams. Armstead projects as a DE in a 3-4, but in Bill Belichick's new hybrid 4-3 - they run 4-3 a lot more these days - he would play more DT. Maybe that's what motivated him to sign with the "arrogant f**ks" known as the New England Patriots.

Armstead played his college ball at USC, where he was reportedly injected with painkillers 10 times over a period of a few weeks during his 2010 season. He suffered a heart attack as a result. Armstead recovered and later played in Canada. Now, he's making the jump to the NFL. He's a kid I wanted to root for after going through all that he did at USC, but...
