Carolina Hurricanes President and General Manager Jim Rutherford announced today via the team’s official website that the organization has recalled goaltender Cam Ward from their American Hockey League affiliate, the Charlotte Checkers.

So far this season, Ward has suited up for 19 games with the Carolina Hurricanes. In that time, he has gone 6-7-5 with a Goals Allowed Average of 3.15 and a Save Percentage of .895.
