Carl Crawford has a skill that he delights in using to make opponents feel uncomfortable.
The most irritating aspect of Crawford's game is speed, and he made proper use of it in last night's 7-5 loss to the Chicago White Sox in the second of a four-game series at Fenway Park.
Crawford repeatedly showed flashes of the player he was for nine seasons in Tampa Bay, the player the Red Sox shelled out $142 million to obtain in December 2010 without getting a return on their investment in his first season with the team.
