Acquired in a trade with the Los Angeles Kings on Day 2 of the 2014 NHL Draft, Vancouver Canucks forward Linden Vey will be accepting his qualifying offer, his agent Tim Hodgson told Vancouver Sun reporter Brad Zeimer on Monday.

Vey's qualifying offer will be a two-way deal worth $735,000 at the NHL level per capgeek.com. His agent said that his client pushed for a one-way deal, but that it wasn't a major priority since Vey is waiver eligible next season anyway (and surely wouldn't make it through waivers).
