As expected, Jordan Schroeder is on his way back to Vancouver. And Cory Schneider is going back between the pipes.
One day after waiving Jim Vandermeer, the Canucks announced Wednesday that Schroeder had been recalled from the Chicago Wolves.
Schroeder is expected to slot somewhere into the Canucks' top nine, perhaps in place of Andrew Ebbett as the centre on the second line.
Schroeder, 22, has recorded 19 points (9-10-19) in 30 games with the Wolves this season. In 178 AHL games, he has compiled 100 points (44-56-100) and 36 penalty minutes.
