Amid the rubble of another late-game collapse, Vancouver Canuck head coach John Tortorella suggested he would try to seek the positives because, well, what the hell else was there to do?

We think we found two for him: Tom Sestito and Zack Kassian.

The big men both played like big men in the same game, on the same night, against the Pittsburgh Penguins and nearly made a difference before the inevitable occurred and the Canucks lost 5-4 in a shootout.

Kassian scored a stupendous goal, assisted on another and had six hits. Sestito nearly scored a beauty as well, dangling past Penguin defenceman Simon Despres and sliding the puck just wide, and finished with seven hits. Kassian played a season high 18:03 versus the Penguins while Sestito saw 13:44 of ice, which followed his season-high 16:16 Sunday against Anaheim.
