The Montreal Canadiens on Monday signed forward Sven Andrighetto, a 2013 third-round pick (No. 86), to a three-year, entry-level contract.

The 20-year-old Andrighetto was passed over twice in the NHL draft before the Canadiens selected him after he finished sixth in scoring in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League last season with 98 points in 53 games with the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies. He was fourth in scoring in the postseason with 30 points in 14 games.
