On the afternoon of Aug. 10, Andrew Bynum was en route to Atlanta for a little offseason training.

He boarded the plane a Los Angeles Laker. He walked off a Philadelphia 76er.

"It kind of took me aback," Bynum said with a cheeky grin.

The 7-foot, 24-year-old center who has two championship rings is the prize new Sixers ownership had been coveting since taking over in October 2011.

"This team and this organization is on the rise," said Sixers owner Josh Harris to roaring applause.
