The Milwaukee Bucks have suspended center Samuel Dalembert for one game without pay due to a violation of team policy, general manager John Hammond announced Tuesday.

Dalembert, 31, will serve his suspension Tuesday night when the Bucks play in Dallas.

After rejoining the Bucks rotation in late January, Dalembert has averaged 9.8 points, 7.3 rebounds and 1.5 blocks per game in Milwaukee's last 10 games. The veteran center made four starts during that stretch, filling in for the injured Larry Sanders.

Since Sanders returned after the All-Star break, Dalembert has played just 11.7 minutes per game in three Bucks losses.

Without Dalembert against the Mavericks on Tuesday night, Ekpe Udoh will likely serve as Sanders' primary backup, with John Henson backing up the power forward position. Either point guard Ish Smith or center Joel Przybilla will be made active to take the place of Dalembert.
