Milwaukee Bucks center Larry Sanders could return to the lineup from a right thumb injury as early as next week, according to Charles F. Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel.

Sanders isn't practicing with the team yet, but he's working out twice a day and has been able to do some shooting despite wearing a protective glove on his right wrist.

Sanders injured his thumb in a bar fight in downtown Milwaukee on Nov. 3. The big man suffered a torn ligament in the fight and underwent surgery on Nov. 11. He was projected to miss six weeks with the injury, and Monday marks six weeks after the surgery.
