The Bruins understand the 20-year-old Seguin is capable of things most of them are not. He has been blessed with speed on skates like Apolo Anton Ohno and deftness handling a hockey stick that is rare at any age.

They understand his capabilities but they also know he is still a kid playing a man's game, a kid who led them in scoring this year but a kid all the same. And so they wait more patiently than the rest of us for what they all believe will eventually come.
