Bruins defenseman Colin Miller, who was left limping after a knee-on-knee hit by the Senators’ Mark Borowiecki in Game 1 of the first-round Boston-Ottawa playoff series, has been cleared to play in Game 4 tonight at TD Garden. Miller will replace Tommy Cross on the No. 3 defense pairing alongside John-Michael Liles.

“We’ve just got to come out strong,” said Miller, who played 7:08 in Game 1. “It’s going to be a bounce-back game for us, definitely. We’ve got to be ready.”

The Senators lead the best-of-seven series, two games to one.
