One of the bigger injury-related questions for the Seahawks as training camp nears on July 25 is the status of linebacker/defensive end Bruce Irvin, who had hip surgery in the spring.

Coach Pete Carroll said at the end of mini-camp that Irvin might be the most questionable of any of Seattle’s injured players — of which there aren’t many — to be ready for the beginning of training camp.

“Bruce is going to be up against it a little bit,” Carroll said. “He’s had a fantastic recovery already and he is going to work his butt off to get back. But we are going to have to wait and see.”

A Tweet today from Irvin, while not clarifying when he will be back, at least seemed to indicate that all is going well so far in his rehab.
