I guess Billy Winn isn't going to unseat Christian Yount after all.

On Tuesday the Cleveland Browns announced that they have signed long snapper Christian Yount to a 5-year contract extension. Yount was a restricted free agent after the 2012 season but the team tendered his contract to keep him on board for 2013.

Despite the fact that special teams coordinator Chris Tabor was the only coordinator who was retained from the Pat Shurmur era Cleveland virtually cleaned house when it came to their special teams players in the offseason. K Phil Dawson P Reggie Hodges KR/PR Joshua Cribbs and S Ray Ventrone were all unrestricted free agents and none of them were re-signed by the Browns. Yount was the only holdover.
