Von Miller facing a four-game suspension for violating NFL policy said he would appeal the punishment saying “I know I did nothing wrong.”

Now the Broncos linebacker will get his day in court as ESPN reports that Miller's appeal will be heard Aug. 15.

Miller also was getting help from the NFLPA in his appeal as union official George Atallah said he was disappointed that news of the suspension had been leaked to the media. Atallah also said that Miller's suspension was not the result of a violation of the league's PEDs policy.

Miller though did test positive for marijuana during his rookie season.

"The guy I was two three four years ago is not the guy I am" Miller said recently.
