The Todd Gurley-est Show on Turf got off to a slow start last week. St. Louis' rookie running back played just 14 snaps in his NFL debut against the Steelers, and he totaled just six carries for nine yards on those plays.

With the Rams headed to Arizona to take on the Cardinals this Sunday, head coach Jeff Fisher indicated that we should all get ready for the rookie to get a lot more work.

Gurley still seems pretty likely to split snaps with Tre Mason, but it seems safe to say he's going to take more of a leading role, both this week and over the course of the rest of the season. The Rams didn't snag him with the No. 10 overall pick to let him watch Mason and Benny Cunningham get the primary running responsibilities, after all.
