Ron Roenicke made the decision to start Sean Halton at first base tonight and the decision paid off in the biggest way possible. Halton drove in 3 of the Brewers' five runs tonight 1 in the 2nd on a single scoring Logan Schafer and 2 in the 4th on a two-run home run his first since his first stint with the team in July.

Tyler Thornburg didn't take a no-hitter farther than the 2nd inning tonight but still gave an excellent pitching performance. He was followed up by Rob Wooten not giving up runs and a surprise appearance from a potentially overworked Brandon Kintzler. Jim Henderson may have obtained save but that was marred by a two-out solo home run by Matt Adams this year's Ridiculously Good Quad-A-Type Corner Infielder.
