Brandon Morrow allowed six earned runs, including a pair of two-run homers to Chris Carter, as the Blue Jays fell 11-2 to the Houston Astros on Sunday in Kissimmee, Fla. Morrow pitched 4.2 innings.
Jim Negrych and Mike McCoy scored the Jays’ only runs on sacrifice flies by Anthony Gose and Rajai Davis. Brett Cecil and Claudio Vargas also gave up solo homers in the loss. The Jays have Monday off before facing Houston again on Tuesday in Dunedin. Mark Buehrle is scheduled to pitch.
