Jose Bautista spent Monday getting checked out by noted hand surgeon Dr. Thomas Graham in Cleveland and will rejoin the Jays on Tuesday, but the Jays' brass has not yet had a chance to see or digest the medical report.

"(Bautista) did go through a couple of MRIs to compare the left wrist with the right wrist," manager John Farrell said. "He'll rejoin us here in New York to continue any kind of treatment he'll be going through. But we have no conclusive report at this time."

On Saturday, one day after rejoining the Jays after taking five weeks off to heal an inflamed tendon in his wrist, Bautista felt some mild symptoms return and immediately was placed on the 15-day disabled list.
