The Portland Trail Blazers (4-2), led by LaMarcus Aldridge, beat the Sacramento Kings (1-4) for the second time in as many days with an 96-85 victory Saturday night at Sleep Train Arena.

Aldridge is playing on another level right now and it doesn’t look as if that is going to change any time soon, especially if teams continue to play him straight up.

16 points, 11 rebounds were his numbers…in the first half. He finished the game with 22 points, 14 rebounds and three steals. Wesley Matthews accounted for 21 points on eight-of-11 shooting. Robin Lopez had a double-double of 12 points, 10 rebounds and Nicolas Batum had 12 points, seven rebounds and five assists.
