The 2013 Tennessee Titans finished with a 7-9 record and missed the playoffs for the fifth consecutive season.

Safety Bernard Pollard had another way of summarizing the team's season.

"We have been a team where we have sucked butt," he said, per TitanInsider. "And I'm just being perfectly honest with you. We have sucked butt, and it's time for us to turn that corner. Like I said last year and this year, we're gonna knock the piss out of you.

"It's gonna be fair. It's gonna be within the lines -- I may get one outside the lines or whatever -- but that's just who I am and that's just who we are. It's going to be a lot of fun doing it," he said.

Pollard will get no argument from the peanut gallery.

The main reason the Titans have "sucked" in recent seasons is the instability at quarterback.

With Jake Locker playing just 18 games combined the past two years due to injury the Titans have been stuck in neutral.
