It took eight quarters but the Bengals finally ended their offensive touchdown drought and in the process also ended Tom Brady’s streak of games with touchdown passes.

Using a balanced attack the Bengals grinded out a 13-6 victory at Paul Brown Stadium. Cincinnati improves to 3-2 while New England drops to 4-1.

Of the Bengals' 69 offensive plays 38 were runs. BenJarvus Green-Ellis had 19 carries for 67 yards including a 1-yard touchdown on fourth-and-goal that gave the Bengals a 13-3 lead. Giovani Bernard added 62 yards on 13 carries.

Brady nearly had a touchdown to Julian Edelman on third-and-goal at the Bengals' 1 but Edelman was unable to keep possession in the left corner of the end zone and Adam Jones got a hand on it at the last second. They had to settle for a Stephen Gostkowski field goal.
