On Tuesday, it was announced that the Cincinnati Bengals have hired defensive coordinator Mike Zimmer's son, Adam Zimmer, as the team's assistant defensive backs coach.

"Adam is a good young coach with two great experiences already in the NFL," said Bengals head coach Marvin Lewis. "He'll assist our defensive backs coach, Mark Carrier, and I'm very confident he will do a fine job."

Zimmer has eight years of coaching experience in the NFL, despite the fact that he's 29 years old. He was the assistant linebackers coach for the Saints from 2006-09. As a member of Sean Peyton's coaching staff, he helped coach the Saints to an NFL championship when they defeated the Colts in Super Bowl XLIV, wrapping up the '09 season.
