It's Groundhog Day for Josh Beckett.

He's trapped in one of his worst big-league seasons, and each start seems identical to the one before.

Beckett was good early in Boston's 7-1 loss to the Baltimore Orioles at Camden Yards Tuesday night, but started to show signs of trouble in the fifth before totally falling apart in the sixth. A Mark Reynolds home run in the fifth had given the O's a 2-1 lead, and a single and walk started problems for a tiring Beckett in the sixth on a muggy night in Baltimore.

Matt Wieters then chopped a groundball up the middle that somehow eluded Beckett, Mike Aviles and Dustin Pedroia and drove in another run. A Chris Davis single made it 4-1 and Beckett was mercifully lifted.
