Rookie prospect Scott Laughton will make his way back to Oshawa on Monday after his five-game appearance with the Flyers.
Laughton spent Sunday night's game in the press box watching the Flyers for the last time. For now, anyway.
"Yeah, I mean, getting back to Oshawa and playing top-six minutes for a team that will go far … so I think it will be good for my development and good for everyone," he said.
General manager Paul Holmgren emphasized he felt Laughton needs more ice time and situational play and that could be better accomplished if he went back in junior.
