Avalanche goalie Jean-Sebastien Giguere didn't practice today, but coach Joe Sacco said the veteran goalie will make his fourth consecutive start Friday when Colorado looks for a sweep of its four-game homestand and collect its eighth consecutive victory at the Pepsi Center.

Ryan Malone? and the Tampa Bay Lightning? stand in the way of what would be Colorado's longest single-season home winning streak since the franchise moved from Quebec to Denver in 1995. Malone is the cousin of Avalanche rookie forward Brad Malone.
