Austin Jackson didn't get any hits in his return to game action Thursday evening. Then again, the rest of his Toledo Mud Hens teammates didn't get many, either.

A double by Toledo third baseman Audy Ciriaco leading off the ninth off Charlotte pitcher Terry Doyle broke up a no-hit bid in the Knights' 6-1 victory.

But Jackson (abdominal strain), playing in his first game since May 16, went hitless in four at-bats, striking out swinging twice. He was able to make three put-outs in center field.

All in all, it made for a positive evening.
