Hindsight is always 20/20 but let’s flashback to 2009. The Wizards had just been awarded the fifth pick in the NBA Draft. At the time their roster included All-Stars Caron Butler and Antawn Jamison, plus Gilbert Arenas was supposed to make his return from a knee injury.

At that point the Wizards management felt it was better to surround that group with veteran’s instead of spending that pick on a rookie who may not help them right away. Washington traded the pick to Minnesota for Mike Miller and Randy Foye.

At the time the move sounded like the right thing to do….

Four seasons later we see that the Wizards could’ve drafted a skinny kid out of Davidson who was taken by the Golden State Warriors at pick No. 7.

This is what that “skinny kid” did last night against the San Antonio Spurs. Watch this link and be amazed….
