The Brewers received good news on third baseman Aramis Ramirez when an MRI performed Sunday showed no structural damage in his injured left knee.

The diagnosis remained a sprained knee but Ramirez is expected to miss more than a couple of days.

"The MRI was good; showes what we thought it was -- a sprained knee," said manager Ron Roenicke. "It won't be day to day. He's pretty sore today.

"Whether it's a week (off) or a little more than that, that's what we're looking at."
