Putting aside all the mid-season trade rumors swirling around him, Cole Hamels was all business Sunday.
Hamels pitched eight innings of one-run ball, Hunter Pence hit a three-run homer and the Phillies beat the Colorado Rockies, 5-1, for their first series victory in nearly a month.
"Cole seems like he's focused and he's able to block it out," said Pence, who came to the Phillies in a mid-summer deadline trade with Houston last season. "Hopefully, he doesn't have to do this too much and we can turn this thing around."
