The Yankees thought their Angel Stadium hex was a thing of the past following their ALCS win three years ago, but the Big A continues to be a house of horrors for the Bombers.

Dan Haren stifled the Yankees in a 5-1 Angels win, clinching the Bombers' eighth straight non-winning season in Anaheim.

The last time the Yankees won a season series at Angel Stadium was 2004, when they took two of three. Since then, the Angels are 25-11 on their home turf against the Yankees.

With Jered Weaver landing on the disabled list earlier in the day, the Angels turned to Haren to fill the void as ace. Haren responded, holding the Yankees to one run on eight hits over seven-plus innings. Haren didn't issue a walk, striking out seven as he picked up his third win of the season.
