ANDREW Bogut's latest ankle injury is not considered serious and he will soon be leading the Golden State Warriors in their pursuit of an NBA championship.

Bogut sent a scare through the team when he sat out the second-half of their loss to Oklahoma Thunder after injuring his left ankle, but an MRI scan today indicated he only suffered a bone bruise.

It was the same ankle that forced Bogut to sit out 38 games earlier in the season after undergoing arthroscopic and micro-fracture surgery.

The Warriors have listed Bogut as "day-to-day" and head coach Mark Jackson said he expected his centre to be back on the court for the playoffs.
